A huge thank you to all involved in the Shakes’beer’ Promenade around Clifton Village on the weekend on 22nd and 23rd April. The Bard’s birthday was celebrated in a way we’re sure he would have enjoyed, with carousing to minstrels in the pub over a pint, before heading on a tour of some of Clifton’s select spots to see scenes from some of his best works, including Romeo and Juliet (complete with balcony scene in Victoria Park and a moving double death scene in the Birdcage Walk graveyard!) and Much Ado About Nothing.
Keep your eyes peeled for details of the next events you can get involved with, or sign up to our info list to receive updates via email.
