Shakes’beer’ Promenade Performance

On the weekend of 23rd and 24th April the streets of Clifton will be enlivened by CADS performance of scenes from some of Shakespeare’s most famous and most engaging plays:

• A Midsummer Night’s Dream
• Macbeth
• Twelfth Night

These will be performed in and around the open spaces in the village. The promenade performances will take place every two hours and will be interspersed with some sonnet singing and some beer drinking in local taverns.

There are only 20 tickets available for each tour, so book early to avoid disappointment.

The show is cast but we are going to need tour guides to guide the audience and we would like the guides to add to the experience by being in costume and in character (of sort – just quite Elizabethan with a bit of ‘thee’ and ‘thou’ and few Shakespearean swearing thrown in!)
