Clockwork and Luvvies

The game is Clockwork & Luvvies hosted by Rob Eggington – you play one of the cast/crew from The Globe in Elizabethan England. Shakespeare is recovering in the bath so you’re in charge when something dramatic happens that you and the crew have to handle. Maybe witches want to eat the theatre, or perhaps the old guys from box 3 plan to steal the script to Porklet Princess of Paris before opening night. It’s a simple narrative game with some dice rolling to introduce some risk – you choose one skill along the axis of precision (clockwork) to passion (luvvies) e.g. high luvvies means low clockwork so you’ll be good at seducing the witches, but less good at rigging up a bomb inside their cauldron. The Games Master will set the scene, ask what you want your character to do and tell you when and what to roll. Your choices of what to do are pretty much limitless bound only by the need to roll against luvvies or clockwork at times.
