by Terry Pratchett
Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs
The de Magpyrs are the sort of vampires that would have Count Dracula spinning in his grave: modern, forward-looking and no longer afraid of holy water, garlic and religious symbols, or, indeed, of anything else. This makes them very, very dangerous. Luckily for the Discwold, the witches of Lancre are on hand – and the battle is on!
This Halloween join CADS in the Station on Silver Street, Central Bristol, for this spooktacular seasonal show featuring some of Terry Pratchett’s finest character creations. From smart, suave bloodsuckers to an eclectic assortment of witches, as well as yokels galore and an adorable mongrel, Stephen Briggs’ adaption of Carpe Jugulum has a favourite for everyone.
A bar selling hard and soft drinks, plus refreshments, will be available when the doors open. Fancy dress is warmly welcomed, though not compulsory!
Due to the running time (2hrs 30 minutes, plus interval) the shows will start earlier than usual, so please note the timings below:
- Wed 29th October: Doors open 6.30 pm, show starts at 7 pm.
- Thurs 30th October: Doors open 6.30 pm, show starts at 7 pm.
