Rhona Jamieson and Alex Turasciewicz will be running a read-through of a very interesting play by Tanya Ronder and Rufus Norris, called Table.
Performed for the first time last year at the National Theatre, could this be the next big CADS show? Come along to give it a try-out!
Telling the story of one family over 200 years, Table is a collaborative exploration of belonging, identity and the things we pass on. Six generations, nine performers, thirty parts and one very special piece of furniture.
For a review of the first performance of the play last year, take a look at this article from the Independent.
Everyone is encouraged to bring along something that has been handed down through their own family, or that they themselves would hand down, and talk a little about what it means to them.
Please note that the play contains a lot of strong language, so be warned!
We will be starting at 7.30 pm rather than 8 pm for this one, so please be on time 🙂
